Our soul, mind, and body always want to stay happy. To achieve this happiness we go to any extent and do any possible things. We all are seeking eternal happiness, but we are not aware that for that eternal happiness, we depend on transient things.

It's worth mentioning that happiness is not solely dependent on external factors such as wealth, status or possessions. Research suggest that factors like positive relationships, a sense of purpose, self-acceptance, resilience and the practice of gratitude and mindfulness play significant roles in cultivating long-lasting happiness.

Finding happiness is a subjective and personal journey. Below are some general strategies that can help cultivate a greater sense of happiness in our life.

• Practice Gratitude: Focusing on the positive aspects of our life can shift our perspective and bring more joy. Embrace the present moment. Appreciating and fully experiencing the present moment.

• Taking care of physical and mental health: Engaging in regular exercise. Eat a balanced diet and get enough sleep. Physical well-being has a significant impact on mental and emotional states. Meditation or deep breathing exercises can help reduce stress and increase overall happiness.

• Meaningful goal: Identify your values and aspirations. Set realistic and achievable goals. Working towards goals is important to provide a sense of purpose and fulfillment. If possible pursue a career or job that aligns with our passions. Finding meaning in our work can greatly contribute to overall happiness.

• Avoid comparing to others: Remember that everyone's journey is unique. Better focusing on our path and progress is more important than comparing with others.

• Help others: Kindness and helping others can boost your own happiness. These actions not only benefit others but also foster a sense of connection and fulfillment within ourselves.

• Cultivate positive relationships: Surround yourself with supportive and positive people who uplift you. Recognize the genuine people around us. We should not waste our time and energy on the wrong one. Time is a valuable resource and it is important to make wise choices about how we spend it. Seek support from trusted friends and family.

Happiness is not a constant state. Happiness is a continuous journey rather than a final destination. It is normal to experience ups and downs and it's essential to be patient and kind to ourselves.
