In a bold move blending artificial intelligence with authentic storytelling, Collective Artists Network has introduced Radhika Subramaniam — India’s first AI-generated travel influencer. Bilingual in Tamil and English, Radhika is designed to resonate with a new generation of travelers while telling deeply rooted, local stories from across India.
A New Face in Indian Travel Content — That’s Not Human
Unlike traditional travel influencers, Radhika is fully AI-powered. She embodies the spirit of a Gen Z solo traveler — curious, culturally aware, and unapologetically independent. From bustling city corners to quiet small-town legends, she brings a digital yet deeply human touch to every journey she curates.
“Radhika feels like that one friend who actually took the solo trip we all talk about,” says Vijay Subramaniam, Founder and Group CEO of Collective Artists Network. “She’s thoughtful, curious, and genuinely connected to the world around her. Our goal was to go beyond creating another influencer — we wanted a storyteller who makes people feel seen.”
More Than Just a Trend
Radhika isn’t Collective’s first virtual creation. She follows Kavya, a luxury-focused AI influencer aimed at aspirational millennials. But while Kavya caters to high-end tastes, Radhika's strength lies in her relatability — discovering hidden gems, embracing street food culture, and shining a light on India’s offbeat trails.
Fluent in both Tamil and English, Radhika is uniquely positioned to connect with a wide and diverse audience. For brands, she offers a consistent voice, ready-to-deploy content, and a deep understanding of cultural nuance — making her a powerful tool for context-rich campaigns.
“There’s a warmth to Radhika that doesn’t feel manufactured,” says Sudeep Subhash, Chief Revenue Officer at Collective and CEO of Big Bang Social. “She’s not just following trends. She understands context. That’s what makes her valuable — she delivers brand-aligned content that audiences actually care about.”
A Digital Explorer on Instagram
Radhika made her Instagram debut in March 2025, and her bio reads: “AI-Traveller, Explorer, Wanderluster | Curating experiences across India.” Based in Bengaluru (according to her profile), she has already gained a modest but growing follower base of around 2,000.
Her posts include snapshots of local life, immersive travel tales, and brand collaborations — all presented with the polish of a human influencer, but backed by AI-driven consistency and scale.
A Global Trend, Now in India
Radhika isn’t the world’s first AI travel influencer — Germany launched “Emma,” an AI-powered tourism ambassador, back in 2023. But her arrival marks India’s first significant step into this fast-evolving space, where technology meets personality to create always-on, always-engaging content creators.
With AI influencers becoming a global trend, India’s introduction of Radhika Subramaniam reflects the growing appetite for synthetic yet relatable digital personalities. For audiences and brands alike, she might just be the travel companion of the future — ever-curious, ever-online, and always telling a story worth listening to.
