Survival of artistic mindset in a corporate world

Our habits, behaviour, nature, emotions, action, reactions, etc., it all depends on nurture. Parents put forward us to be good human beings, open, conscientiousness, extraversion, etc. Generally, we are not trained to face the corporate world at home.

Being artist is a reputed and productive profession. Artists have their own world, their vision of life is different. They see beauty and positive side of everything. They never treat negative or black as inauspicious. For being decisive about making a career in corporate world artists must have a vision.

The one being valued in corporate world, is the one who's being promoted for his extraordinary and unique skills. Feelings of independence, smart, intelligent, handsome reaping, with these imaginations, almost all artists were arrested into the glittering world of corporate.

Taking a step in the corporate organisation, they feel like they came in convoluted life. They take long time to understand the working protocols and dynamics of organisations. As being polite and soft-hearted, artistic mindset finds it hard to survive. Artistic mindsets are very sensitive and vulnerable to criticism than other professionals because through their work they express their feelings and reveal their inner selves.

They are unable to differentiate between personals and professional life. They sacrifice a lot to survive here, they endure, they break up too, they like to quit or give up, they cry, feel captured. Being persistent is the key to adjust in a corporate atmosphere. If they are lucky they may find a generous mentor.

Taking right step at the right time, knowing how much to talk and how to talk, where to be overfriendly and where to be silent, what manipulation to do, how to dress up, how much to reveal yourself, how to maintain the hierarchy, to check our sense of humour, maintain silence and discipline, to mind our own business and be concerned with the work of others

To long last in the same field one should know or be aware of the following professional qualities.

Build strong relationships, develop multiple skills, be more than willing, try to meet the boss's expectations, be proactive - identify issues before they become problems and solve them, be reliable, exhibit leadership quality, having good tolerance power.

It appears difficult but not impossible to survive in the corporate world. Being an artistic mindset means having a strong emotional balance and intelligence, creativity to adopt and adapt themselves in any positive and right direction.
