Sadhguru's health scare began with severe headaches and life-threatening bleeding in the skull, leading to his admission to Apollo Hospital. Despite experiencing intense pain, he remarkably continued with his routine activities, including overseeing the Mahashivratri function on March 8.
The severity of Sadhguru's condition became evident when an MRI revealed massive bleeding in his brain. Dr. Vinit Suri, a senior consultant neurologist at Apollo Hospital, described Sadhguru's ordeal, stating that he had been enduring excruciating headaches for four weeks but persisted with his commitments. Even when advised for an urgent MRI, Sadhguru prioritized an important meeting, highlighting his dedication to his responsibilities.
The MRI results unveiled the extent of the bleeding, indicating two significant instances of bleeding over the past few weeks. Urgent action was imperative, leading to a prompt surgical intervention conducted by a skilled medical team including Dr. Vinit Suri, Dr. Pranav Kumar, Dr. Sudheer Tyagi, and Dr. S Chatterjee.
Post-surgery, Sadhguru's condition steadily improved, prompting the medical team to remove him from the ventilator. Apollo Hospital reported positive progress in his vital parameters, indicating a promising trajectory towards recovery.
