LIC chairman to unveil ex-IRDAI member Sathe's memoir

Mumbai, Apr 03 Nilesh Sathe's book, 'Never Give Up: Overcome Life's Challenges and Achieve Success', will be unveiled by LIC chairman, M R Kumar on April 09.

The book is full of inspiration. It can inspire the whole lot of today's generation who often face challenges in life.

Before serving as a member of IRDAI, Sathe has also worked as CEO of LIC Nomura Mutual Fund (now LIC MF) and ED of LIC in the past.

Talking to Bizz Buzz about his forthcoming book, Sathe says, "It's an inspirational account of how to overcome life's challenges and achieve success."

Like most people, Sathe says that his life was also full of anxieties, worries, problems which I tried to get over with a positive frame of mind.

According to Sathe, "I had to face agony of my father's death when I was just four, had my primary education in villages which had no electricity. My mother had to undergo cancer surgery in the year of my matriculation. As if this was not enough, while facing challenges in office, I too suffered from cancer and had to undergo three cancer surgeries in three years....

But it was an 'enjoyable' though 'challenging' journey of my life."

The book, which is available on Amazon, is a must read for anyone who wants to be successful in the corporate world_ be it insurance or management professionals, individuals aspiring to make it big in the world of finance as well as anyone in need of some inspiration in life.

Talking about the book, LIC chairman M R Kumar says, "It is a candid account of the struggles and challenges, faced by the author in his personal and professional life."
