Important life lessons that Covid taught us

Is it a horrible virus made by China? Did they make it in a lab? But I believe every creature is born out of the will of god. We can't escape from his decision, he has pre-plans for the entire universe.

Viruses are neither living nor are they non-living. But, if they exist on our planet, they can't be without reasons. Why do we give a negative statement that this is harmful and felonious? We are judging by the mortality rate caused by this virus, but at the same time, we should not forget the numerous survivors. Those who survived, can give statements that they are having good immunity, why can't they say corona didn't do any harm to them?

Does corona discriminate on the basis of caste, class, age, religion etc., of course not, we could say there are some mysteries in the universe. But we are too small to think of these; leave alone understanding these.

Though a number of scientists are working on it, we still do not know the criteria that make people prone to infection. We don't have an answer except in terms of probabilities. So why don't we do the following things:

If there is havoc all around, we human beings have no other choice, but to have 100 per cent faith in God's will and train our mind to see positives in every situation, besides taking all precautions and following protocol and guidelines.

So, let's count only positive points of corona:

l Corona brought the family together. Aged parents, no doubt, are quite happy when their children return from abroad. They spend time together. They play, they eat, they sleep, they talk, they laugh, they love...so on and so forth.

l Covid gives the feelings of being independent and self-driven. "Akele ayen hai akele jayenge." All social relationships are short term and situation based. We are solely responsible for our soul and body. Only I'm the best person for my soul and body till the end of life. We should never depend and expect from anyone.

l The virus gives us opportunities for love. By any chance if two lovers are trapped in the same place in lockdown, by god! they would definitely thank corona and even pray for a longer lockdown. At least at this time of pandemic, some people are living these moments beautifully.

l Corona gives relaxing time to a few employees which otherwise they could not get. Forcibly they stay home and have time to relax. They now have personal time, food time, fun time...etc.

l Similarly, for busy housewives, if they get sick with mild symptoms, they are isolated and quarantined with VIP treatments which they could have not imagined in normal times.

l The pandemic brought hidden talents in each person to fore. Some became experts in culinary art, some emerged as good singers and dancers. Some are excellent in art and craft became an awesome artist. These extra-curricular activities are always taken as secondary things in today's hi-tech world. So, art got their respect in the corona phase.

l The virus played a booster for online business and e-commerce. For the digital corona is like a boon.

l Virus loves nature. During the corona period, pollution decreased drastically.

Corona came to teach us, to remember us that without family, without love we cannot survive. Unknowingly we were running so fast in the journey of life with hi-technology that we forgot the importance of family and emotions. This corona phase made us understand that all these buzzwords hi-tech, modernisation, hi-education, hi-professional are just short term gratifications. Only emotions, karma, and soul are to be cared for. Sudden death could never scare us if we always do good karma. Never forget that we only have the option to perform our duties with full faith in god. This terrifying virus would die its natural death.
