light operations at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport faced intermittent disruptions on Monday as rainfall and low visibility affected air traffic.
IndiGo Airlines issued a travel advisory urging passengers to monitor their flight schedules closely due to weather-related delays. The airline stated that some departures have been temporarily paused, citing safety concerns.
“Teams are working continuously to resume flights as conditions permit,” the advisory read. The airline also asked travelers to account for traffic delays in the city and reach the airport early.
With roads experiencing slower movement because of waterlogging in parts of Hyderabad, passengers were advised to check live traffic updates and plan accordingly.
The airline assured passengers that all possible steps were being taken to minimize delays and ensure smooth departures once clearance is given by air traffic control.
