7 Nov 2025 8:23 PM IST

First aid can prevent minor accidents from becoming much worse, and even save lives in emergency situations - making First Aid Regina an essential skill to have on hand.

Coast2Coast's comprehensive, engaging first aid training programs meet national safety standards, helping people build the confidence to respond in emergencies with confidence and ease. Their programs ensure people live safer lives.

Basic First Aid

First aid is the initial response to medical emergencies. This may range from as simple as bandaging a cut to providing CPR to an unconscious person; almost anyone can learn basic first aid; though first responders such as paramedics and EMTs tend to provide this care first, everyone should know what steps to take in an emergency.

First aid requires remaining calm while acting quickly - just minutes can often make the difference between life and death. A first aid kit in both your home and car should contain items such as bandages, antiseptic wipes, gauze pads, scissors tweezers and gloves for use during emergencies; any used items should be replaced immediately.

First Aid Regina offers provincially recognized standard first aid and CPR courses that provide training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillators (AED). The course covers emergency situations involving airway emergencies, breathing or choking emergencies, bleeding and shock as well as head or spinal injuries, burns, poisonings seizures seizures temperature related issues like frostbite.

Advanced First Aid

First Aid Regina provides provincially recognized standard first aid courses designed for candidates who seek more extensive first aid training than basic first aid alone. Our CPR and AED classes cover training and certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use of automated external defibrillators (AED). Child care first aid is also offered - this class targets candidates working or considering working in child care industries. All our first aid and CPR courses meet government legislative standards while meeting workplace or academic approval. In addition, we also offer stand-alone CPR level "A" course which doesn't cover first aid training at all.

CPR

Regina First Aid offers workplace-approved stand-alone CPR classes. These classes include training and certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillators (AED), but do not cover first aid training. Successful participants receive a workplace approved CPR/AED certificate which meets government legislative requirements for three years following successful completion.

Our CPR Level A course provides adult resuscitation skills suitable for many workplace, academic and personal requirements. In addition, we offer standard child care first aid and CPR Level B course that meets many Saskatchewan workplace requirements for child caregivers. Both classroom-based courses can take approximately two days to complete and feature first aid training, injury prevention content as well as CPR/AED instruction.

First Aid Training

First aid training helps reduce further injury, promote healing, and empower individuals to act confidently during emergency situations. It allows for more organized response to emergencies as well as improved communication among bystanders - which makes this type of training crucial in both work environments and remote locations. Regina First Aid offers various first aid courses - standard first aid, child care first aid and CPR Level "B" are among our offerings - with some available as blended learning where participants complete theoretical components online prior to attending an in-person course to develop practical skills.

The company offers workplace and academic approved CPR level "A" training courses, suitable for candidates needing standalone CPR certification. Reviews generally praise instructors for their knowledge and engaging lessons, with criticism being focused around limited hands-on practice during class days particularly for skills like CPR on infants and children. Some also note some aspects of instruction were insufficiently monitored - however users generally believe that overall the cost is well worth their while and would recommend it to others.
