Hyderabad US-headquartered collaboration platform, Zoom on Thursday said it has introduced latest innovations by tapping on Artificial Intelligence, and IoT. The platform for connection and communication also cleared the air around its data policy. It claims that the data in transit is in encrypted form while the company holds data related to geographical or billing information of the customer.

The company, which garnered traction during pandemic, is working on elevating its image from a meeting application to a collaboration platform for customers and employees, as post-pandemic majority of the company’s has employees working from office.

Speaking at an event, Sameer Raje, General Manager and Head-India, Zoom said, “Lately, we have been asked this question on what is the future of Zoom after the pandemic. As workplaces are transforming, the workforce is demanding better tools for flexible work. So, here we are trying to improvise employee experience through our solutions like Zoom IQ, a conversational analytical platform.”

He further said giving an employee the choice to work from home or office is empowerment from the organisation side. “Employees are coming into offices and holding virtual meetings on Zoom. Now, enterprises are all about comfort of employees,” he added. Surprisingly, Zoom CEO Eric Yuan, cited its company culture as a problem and wished the best for the employees who wanted to quit rather than returning back to office.
