Xiaomi Redmi 15C: Budget Phone With Massive Display, Long-Lasting Battery
Xiaomi introduces Redmi 15C in India with 6.9-inch HD+ display, dual cameras, 6000mAh battery, 120Hz refresh, and expandable storage up to 1TB.

On Wednesday, India was the venue of the official reveal of Xiaomi's new budget smartphone, the Redmi 15C series. The company come up with a big screen Android smartphone for the users who are primarily looking at the affordability aspect but the phone also comes pitched with some high-end features.
The Redmi 15C's display measures 6.9 inches diagonally and has a resolution of HD+ with a ratio of 20:9. The screen gives a steady and quick refreshing rate of 120Hz and 810h brightness at the peak. Besides being certified by TÜV, the display is also certified to cause the least strain on the eyes through prolonged use due to the low blue light output (by software solution) and flicker-free standards.
Users will get triple slots for two nano SIMs along with a microSD card, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, and the phone will also be rated IP64 for protection against dust and water ingress.
At the core of the device lies the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor, which is made on a 6nm technology and is combined with an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone takes advantage of Xiaomi's HyperOS 2, which is built on Android 15. Depending on the user's preference, the device can be had with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of internal storage that can be increased to 1TB. With a 6,000mAh battery and 33W fast charging, the device will last long.
The camera features include a dual rear arrangement that encompasses a 50MP primary sensor (f/1.8), a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front (f/2.0) camera that takes care of selfies and video calls.
The Redmi 15C comes in three color variants which are Dusk Purple, Moonlight Blue, and Midnight Black. The price of the mobile starts from Rs 12,499 for the 4GB + 128GB variant, followed by 6GB + 128GB model priced at Rs 13,999 and ending with Rs 15,499 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration.
Xiaomi is pressed in the budget segment where its competitors are iQOO Z10, Samsung Galaxy A17, and CMF Phone 2 Pro, all these brands provide almost the similar hardware and features' lists.
