Xiaomi Phones Getting No More Updates from September 2025
Several Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO phones will stop receiving updates by Sept 2025 as HyperOS 3 rollout nears. See the full EoL device list now.

Xiaomi has confirmed that several of its smartphones will stop receiving security patches and software updates starting September 2025, marking them as End-of-Life (EoL) devices. The update comes as the company prepares for the upcoming release of HyperOS 3.
The latest EoL update includes multiple models across Xiaomi’s 11 Series, along with budget entries from *Redmi and POCO lineups.
Devices Scheduled for Final Updates in September:
Xiaomi 11 Series
* Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE
* Xiaomi 11 Lite LE
* Xiaomi 11T
* Xiaomi 11T Pro
Redmi Lineup
* Redmi A1
* Redmi A1+
* Redmi 11 Prime 4G
POCO Series
* POCO C50
* POCO M5
These models will receive their final security update in the coming months. Many of the listed phones have not received the HyperOS 2 update and are unlikely to be included in the HyperOS 3 rollout either.
When a smartphone enters the End-of-Life phase, it no longer benefits from official firmware support or security fixes. Although these devices remain operational, they face heightened security vulnerabilities and diminishing app compatibility over time.
Users concerned about safety, data protection, or app functionality may want to consider upgrading as EoL limits software support and long-term usability.

HyperOS 3: What’s Coming Next?
Xiaomi is working toward the public launch of HyperOS 3, expected to debut with the Xiaomi 16 Series. While an official release timeline hasn’t been disclosed, early access or beta versions may appear later this year.
The company recently rolled out HyperOS 2.3, built on Android 16, to select models. HyperOS 3 is anticipated to introduce UI adjustments, better performance, and smoother animations to enhance the user experience further.
