Xiaomi HyperOS 3 Update Arrives for 14 Series: Android 16 Redesign Ahead
Xiaomi prepares HyperOS 3 update for 14 series, Redmi K70 Pro, and MIX Flip with Android 16. Design overhaul and performance boost coming soon.

Xiaomi is preparing a big software upgrade on its flagship phones starting from the next coming up on HyperOS 3 and newly launched Xiaomi 15 series. The company is now pouring in software for the likes of Xiaomi 14 series, Redmi K70 Pro, and foldable MIX Flip.
It has been noted that HyperOS 3 is under internal testing for a few of the premium Xiaomi models. The new update is based on Android 16 and will reportedly offer a revamped UI and system-level optimizations to improve speed, multitasking, and battery life. China is expected to be the first place where the update is rolled out and then the global rollout to follow soon afterwards.
Reports from recently have it that more than one flagship model is running HyperOS 3 internal builds.
The test versions that have been identified are:

The test coordinated across th Xiaomi 14 series, the Redmi flagship, and foldable series Xiaomi is making it clear that it is working to give its customers a uniform software experience across its most demanded models.
Xiaomi has not published the official changelog, but it's Hyping up OS 3 on two major grounds:
A new visual design with the help of Android 16 is to be introduced by the update. The users can already think of it to be a new look for system apps, change in animation behaviour, and improvements in widget functionalities; an overall interface will be cleaner.
HyperOS 3 intends to radically improve the device's performance by providing faster app installations, smoother multitasking and better power management among others. These improvements at the system level would result in longer battery life and more stable, consistent flagship experience.
