Xiaomi Expands Software Updates: HyperOS 3 Coming Soon to Redmi Devices

Xiaomi has resumed software updates following China’s National Day Golden Week, rolling out the latest HyperOS versions to several devices worldwide. Among the first to receive attention are the Redmi Pad 2 Pro and the Redmi 13, which will see new HyperOS updates in the coming weeks.
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro, initially released last month with HyperOS 2, will continue on this version for now. The company confirmed that HyperOS 3 will be available for the device in a later update, expected to begin distribution next month.
The Xiaomi 17, which launched with HyperOS 3 preinstalled, has already started receiving version HyperOS 3.0.17.0.WPCCNXM in China. This rollout signals Xiaomi’s renewed focus on bringing the latest software enhancements to its ecosystem after the holiday pause.
In addition to the Redmi Pad 2 Pro, the Redmi 13 and Poco M6 are receiving fresh HyperOS 2 updates as preparation for their eventual HyperOS 3 rollout. These devices are part of Xiaomi’s second wave of updates, while over 20 other models have been excluded from the latest HyperOS 3 distribution.
