Xiaomi Announces Pad 7S Pro With XRING 01 SoC and 12.5″ Display

Xiaomi has officially introduced its latest flagship tablet, the Pad 7S Pro, set to succeed the Pad 7 Pro. Unlike its predecessor powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, this new model features Xiaomi’s custom-built XRING 01 SoC, a 10-core processor fabricated on a 3nm node, promising improved performance and efficiency.

The tablet sports a 12.5-inch 3.2K LCD display with a 144Hz variable refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. It’s enhanced with AG Nano texture technology and AR optical coating, which significantly reduces glare and eye strain by blocking up to 99% of interfering light and reducing reflectivity by 65%.

Internally, the XRING 01 SoC includes a 16-core GPU and 6-core NPU, tailored for high-end performance and AI-driven tasks. The Pad 7S Pro will be available in configurations featuring up to 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, catering to heavy multitasking and storage demands.

For photography and video calls, the device is equipped with a 50MP rear camera and a 32MP front-facing camera. Audio is delivered through a six-speaker system with Dolby Atmos support and four microphones, promising an immersive multimedia experience.

The device packs a large 10,610mAh battery capable of 120W fast charging and supports 7.5W wired reverse charging. Charging protocols include PD3.0 and PD2.0, ensuring wide compatibility with fast charging accessories.

Running on Xiaomi HyperOS 2, the tablet supports high-level multitasking, native support for Apple-like apps such as Keynote and Pages, and a built-in AI assistant for enhanced productivity. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C audio, and USB 3.2 Gen 1.
