Singapore/New Delhi: Wipro has secured an eight-year strategic transformation deal with Singapore-based Olam Group, expected to exceed $1 billion in contract value.

As part of the engagement, Wipro will acquire Olam’s IT and digital services arm, Mindsprint Pte Ltd, for $375 million in an all-cash deal for 100% ownership. The transaction is expected to close by June 30, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals, including anti-trust clearances.

The deal includes a committed spend of $800 million and marks a significant expansion of Wipro’s presence in the food and agri-business sector. Wipro will deliver end-to-end transformation services using a consulting-led and AI-powered approach, leveraging its proprietary “Wipro Intelligence” platform.

Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Singapore, Mindsprint employs over 3,200 professionals across India, Singapore, the US, UK, and the Middle East. It reported revenues of $135.6 million in 2025. Post-acquisition, it will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wipro, with CEO Suresh Sundararajan continuing to lead the business. Wipro CEO and MD Srini Pallia said the partnership will strengthen the company’s farm-to-fork capabilities and help scale AI-led solutions across the global agri-business ecosystem.
