Google’s Pixel 10 lineup has added a new feature that integrates weather forecasts with user activity data. The Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL now include personalized weather updates powered by Magic Cue, a system that draws information from apps linked to a Google account.
The new feature is available within the Pixel Weather app and delivers forecasts tailored to upcoming plans and locations. If a user has a trip or outdoor activity scheduled, the app can present relevant weather details and preparation tips for that location.
Magic Cue, which acts as a device-level assistant, must be activated in settings to use these personalized reports. After enabling the feature, users can view customized insights by following a few steps: open the Pixel Weather app, review saved locations, select a suggested location tied to upcoming events, save it, and check for forecasts under the “AI Weather Report” section.
Currently, this functionality only works for events taking place within the next 10 days. Plans scheduled beyond that window do not appear in the app’s suggested locations. Google has also confirmed that the personalized forecasts are limited to users in the United States and Japan and are only offered in English.
Notably, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, despite supporting Magic Cue, has not been listed among devices offering this feature. Google has not announced if or when it will roll out broader language or regional support.
