WhatsApp is coming up with animated emojis

According to reports, WhatsApp is working on animated emojis, and the feature may be available in beta builds soon.

By default, animated emojis will be sent if the emoji you are using has an animated version. Designers created the new emojis in Lottie, a library that lets them create animations.

In addition, WABetaInfo noted that the animations are small in size and can be scaled without losing quality. Users who prefer a simpler chat experience may be left out of the loop because there is no way to turn off animations for now.
