Today, the combination of "777" appeared on Google Trends completely by surprise and it has attracted the notice of both regular tourists and occasional browsers. However, the increase in searches was not because of internet jokes or a widely shared meme; it came directly from a significant long-haul growth by Air France's the company that owns the Boeing 777-300ER fleet.
And the first thing that comes to mind is the image of Air France announcing it's going to spread its 777-300ER aircraft with four-class cabins pattern through the sky, surrounding Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport with their gentle breath. After such actions, the question of where high premium demand will be the answer to the carrier's next aircraft assignment seems natural to ask.
But contrary to the old routine of blocking off high demand areas with just 777-300ERs, the latest models will be equipped with the new top-tier layout by the airline which has already been refurbished including the brand new first-class suites and fully re-equipped, state-of-the-art, business class. According to Aviation A2Z, the company's reluctance to expand the La Première envelope by as much as 40% indicates that the firm sees the continuing demand for luxury in some of its current markets.
The first-class service at major airports is not going to happen overnight. The rollout of the new first-class service at major airports is going to take over several months as more refurbished aircraft become available:
December 15, 2025: Daily La Première flights to Tel Aviv (TLV) start.
March 29, 2026: Premium network expands up to Atlanta (ATL).
July 6, 2026: Houston (IAH) area will be served. Flight AF98 takes off from Paris at 10:10 a.m., and the return AF99 flight departs at 3:05 p.m.
July 20, 2026: Boston (BOS) city completes the expansion. AF334 leaves Paris at 1:10 p.m. and AF333 takes off from Boston at 5:10 p.m.
Social networks played a big role in the quick dissemination of the information, thus resulting in thousands of people wanting to know more about the aircraft type that was affected by the news through online searches. So, it was very frustrating for curious people wanting nothing more than just to get their hands on premium travel options that the term "777" now the most queried word of the day, mainly driven by the aforementioned curiosity.
Air France's network revitalization is very much influencing the discussion across the internet, given that a greater number of 777-300ERs are transitioning to long-haul operations and the opening of premium classes on new routes. As a result, the "777" tag has emerged as the most popular one in the trend lists.
