Watch Kannappa: Mythological Epic Now Online

Vishnu Manchu’s mythological feature Kannappa has begun streaming on Prime Video, the platform announced Thursday. The film, which originally hit theatres on June 27, is now available for subscribers to watch worldwide.

Prime Video confirmed the digital release through a promotional post on its official Instagram page, calling the film “an epic” experience.

Produced under the Twenty Four Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment banners, Kannappa features Vishnu Manchu in the lead role, supported by an ensemble cast that includes Prabhas as Rudra, a form of Lord Shiva. The story traces Kannappa’s journey from disbelief to spiritual devotion, with Akshay Kumar portraying Lord Shiva.

The cast also features Mohanlal, Kajal Aggarwal, Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, Siva Balaji, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Raghu Babu, and Madhoo.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu, the film marks the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal, who last shared screen space in the 2013 thriller Section 26.

Industry figures show that Kannappa earned Rs 31.93 crore nett during its theatrical run in India.
