As the calendar turns to July, India’s smartphone market is preparing for a wave of new product launches. Major brands such as Samsung, Nothing, Vivo, and Oppo are scheduled to introduce flagship and mid-range smartphones throughout the month.
Samsung's Foldable Lineup Debuts on July 9
Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 on July 9. The latest foldables are expected to feature improved design elements and faster processors. Reports indicate that the Fold 7 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, while the Flip 7 may come equipped with Samsung’s own Exynos 2500 chipset. Samsung may also unveil One UI 8, its next-generation interface based on Android 16, during the same event.
Nothing Phone 3 Launches July 1
Nothing’s third-generation smartphone, the Phone 3, is scheduled for release on July 1. The device will include the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor and introduce a refreshed Glyph Matrix for expanded notification customization. The phone is anticipated to carry enhanced AI-based features, aligning with market demand for intelligent interface enhancements.
Vivo Set to Expand Foldable and Flagship Portfolio
Vivo is also entering the foldable space this July with the X Fold 5, which is expected to run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and feature a triple 50MP rear camera system. In parallel, Vivo plans to release the X200 FE, a compact flagship expected to include a 6.31-inch 1.5K AMOLED display and a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor.
Oppo Introduces Reno 14 Series
Oppo is preparing to unveil the Reno 14 series in July, targeting the mid-range segment. The Reno 14 Pro will reportedly run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC. The lineup will also showcase design changes and AI camera improvements, positioning it as a successor with notable upgrades over the previous generation.
With multiple new devices launching in quick succession, consumers looking to upgrade may benefit from waiting until after these unveilings. The variety in price points, features, and AI enhancements promises a diverse lineup for tech enthusiasts and everyday users alike.
