Today, Vivo announces its X300 series to international markets officially, and it comes in two models: the X300 and X300 Pro. China was the first country to introduce these smartphones last week, replacing the Vivo X200 series. Before the launch, the company came up with major features, including the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset that is the same for both devices.
The base model Vivo X300 price starts from CNY 4,399 (approx. Rs 54,700) for 12GB + 256GB version in Chinese market while CNY 4,699 (Rs 58,400) is the price for 16GB + 256GB variant. The giant storage versions—12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB— will be available at CNY 4,999 (Rs 62,100), CNY 5,299 (Rs 65,900), and CNY 5,799 (₹72,900) respectively. It is assumed that the global pricing would not be much different from these numbers.
It is said that the X300 would be available in four colors: Halo Pink, Iris Purple, Mist Blue, and Phantom Black.
The X300 Pro price starts at CNY 5,299 (Rs 65,900) for the 12GB + 256GB version. The 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB models are going for CNY 5,999 (Rs 74,600) and CNY 6,699 (Rs 83,300), respectively. Moreover, the 16GB + 1TB Satellite Communication Edition is set at CNY 8,299 (Rs 1,03,200). The device comes in four colors: Cloud White, Mist Blue, Phantom Black, and Dune Brown.
Vivo X300 is equipped with a 6.31-inch flat BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED display boasting a resolution of 1.5K (2,640×1,216 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The product has a thickness of 7.95mm and weighs 190g.
The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor and comes with a maximum of 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. It runs on OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16.
The camera configuration comprises a triple rear arrangement consisting of a primary 200MP Samsung HPB sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP LYT-602 periscope telephoto camera. There is also a 50MP camera for selfies and video conferencing.
The array of connectivity options includes Wi-Fi 7, Blue-tooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports. The battery has a capacity of 6,040mAh and supports both wired and wireless charging at 90W and 40W rates respectively.
The X300 Pro allows the use of a 6.78-inch 1.5K (2,800×1,216 pixels) flat BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has the same high-end processor, RAM, storage, and OS as the X300.
The camera arrangement is different, though, as it now includes a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS. The 50MP front camera is the same across both models.
The Pro version offers exactly the same connectivity features and comes with a bigger 6,510mAh battery that can be refilled with its 90W wired and 40W wireless charging options.
The Vivo X300 series is likely to be launched in India very soon, with a few hints regarding the Zeiss Telephoto Extender kits that will facilitate better photography. The phones have also been spotted on the BIS website which is a clear indication of their upcoming local release.
