Vivo is on the verge of introducing its new X300 series in India after it was first released in China. The series consisting of the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro was confirmed through the company's post on X (formerly Twitter) that it will be available either by the end of November or in the first week of December.
Vivo India has shared a teaser with the message “Coming Soon” and a short video that highlights the camera quality. The video gives a sneak peek into the exceptional imaging system of the series, which will also include a stunning 100x zoom tech. This move is very much in line with Vivo’s strategy of showcasing high-quality photography in its flagship phones.
In China, the starting price for the Vivo X300 series is CNY 4,399, and that is almost equal to Rs 54,700. It is not yet clear exactly how much the Indian price would be, but estimates are around Rs 59,999 depending on the model and configuration. Customers will have a choice of 12GB or 16GB RAM as well as internal storage variants of either 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB. The new X300 series comes with these specs to entice premium smartphone buyers who are presently considering an iPhone, Samsung Galaxy S series, or Google Pixel lineup.
The specs are predicted to be identical to the Chinese model:
Display: Vivo X300 is likely to come with 6.31‐inch 1.5K OLED screen whereas the X300 Pro might have 6.78‐inch 1.5K OLED display. Both screens will support 120Hz refresh rate.
Processor: The two devices are to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 processor.
Memory & Storage: You can choose either 12GB or 16GB RAM, and the maximum storage will be 1TB.
Software: The two devices will be powered by OriginOS which is based on Android 16.
Vivo has not changed its course and has put even more emphasis on photography. The X300 and X300 Pro both offer a triple rear camera setup — a primary 200MP lens, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP zoom unit. The main camera will also allow a 50MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
The Pro version will utilize Vivo's proprietary V3+ imaging chip to improve picture processing and low-light performance. The smartphones will be equipped with powerful batteries — the Pro variant will have a huge 6,510mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, whereas the standard X300 will come with a 6,040mAh battery.
The Vivo X300 series is sure to grab the attention of Indian customers with its impressive image quality, generous memories, and the newest processor. The precise date of the launch is likely to be disclosed in a few days’ time.
