The Indian launch of the new phones, Vivo X300 Pro and Vivo X300, seems to be nearing as the company Vivo again puts forward the mentioned models in the online Indian market. The above-mentioned models recently got listed under the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) which means that the India launch could happen very soon.
The X300 series was first shown to the public in China at the beginning of this month. Experts in the industry anticipate that the Indian models will be pretty much the same as the Chinese models with very little change probably in battery capacity. It is normal for Chinese phone manufacturers to cut battery sizes just a little for international or regional models.
An online post by Avin (@ZionsAnvin) on X (formerly Twitter) has made it known that the Vivo X300 Pro and X300 have the model numbers V2514 and V2515, respectively. The listing in BIS means that the respective approval from the governing body has been secured, which means an official launch announcement can be expected soon.
Several important features are common to both models. A MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor powers them, and they both offer up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. Both the devices have OriginOS based on Android 16, so the software experience is the same one.
Photography is one of the most attractive features of the series. The main rear camera in both the smartphones consists of a triple setup that includes a 200MP sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto camera. For taking self-portraits there is a 50MP camera on the front. Vivo has also included the V3+ imaging chip to improve the performance of its cameras. The charging options comprise of wired charging at 90W and wireless charging at 40W.
The X300 Pro comes with a premium large 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display and a 6,510mAh battery, while the conventional X300 is equipped with a smaller 6.31-inch 1.5K OLED screen and a smaller 6,040mAh battery. The disparities between the two are what position the Pro variant as the premium choice among the three.
Vivo has not announced the official launch date for India, however, the BIS listing suggests that we might hear about it soon. The analysts predict that the details regarding pricing and availability will be released very soon.
