Vivo has officially introduced the Vivo X300 Pro in India, which is a new flagship of the X series and a top-notch phone aimed directly at the photographers' community. The X300 Pro is the successor of the X200 Pro and its main objective is to elevate camera performance even further. The Pro model along with the entry-level X300 variant is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, and the OriginOS 6 is running on the device, which allows for device customization and AI-powered cross-device interoperability.

The X300 Pro competes with Oppo's Find X9 Pro, providing options such as a telephoto extender which is an accessory for long-range photography.

The X300 Pro retains the round camera module design as seen in the X200 Pro. At the back side, the triple-lens system with ZEISS optics having T* coating is seen. The device’s weight is 226 grams which makes it heavy to the top area due to the large camera protrusion. The phone has an aluminium alloy frame with power and volume buttons on the right side, and a customizeable quick key on the left. The SIM tray, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, and speaker grill are all situated at the bottom part of the phone. The phone has been certified IP68/IP69, thus it is resistant to water and dust.

The display is flat and measures 6.78 inches, uses LTPO AMOLED technology, and is capable of a 120 Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision. The maximum screen brightness is 4,500 nits, and the high pixel density of 452 ppi guarantees clear images. The display is smart enough to handle dark scenes with a minimum 1 Hz refresh rate.

The X300 Pro powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500 3nm processor offers a crazy smooth experience throughout photography, video playback, and everyday use. The phone has 512 GB storage of UFS 4.1 type and 16 GB RAM of LPDDR5X type. There is practically no delay or overheating even during heavy camera usage like shooting RAW 200MP images. The OriginOS 6 has in fact brought in a completely new interface with user experience improvements.

Vivo promotes the X300 Pro as a camera-centric product. The rear camera features a 50 MP sensor from Sony Lyt 828, a 50 MP ultrawide JN1 lens, and a 200 MP 3.5x telephoto HPB sensor. The front-facing camera is now a 50 MP unit, increased from the previous 32 MP in the past models.

The main camera produces images that are detailed and good in natural colors. The ultrawide camera keeps the center of the image and the edges clear at the same time, the telephoto camera helps to take sharp portraits and macro shots at the distance of 15cm. The phone has the feature of CIPA 5.5 optical stabilization which is good for shooting moving objects and also for wildlife photography. The X300 Pro with an optional telescopic extender can go as far as 1600mm in focal length that is equal to DSLR level zooming.

Night mode is great in maintaining image clarity and letting through details while AI-assisted modes let photographers tweak their shots and colors without getting them over-processed. Background separation of selfies is done well and tones are made to look natural.

A 6,510 mAh battery is housed in the phone that supports 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. A normal user will get two days of battery life, and in the case of heavy camera and media use, it lasts for a whole day. approximately 40-45 minutes are required for wired charging to get the batteries fully charged.

In 2025 the Vivo X300 Pro will be the mobile camera industry's standard. With its 200 MP telephoto lens, additional zoom extender, and a diverse camera system it will not just be a device for pro photographers but also for casual ones. The X300 Pro merges high-end display, powerful battery and processor to provide an all-around flagship experience. At the price of Rs 1,09,999 in India, the X300 Pro is better than its main competitor Oppo Find 9 Pro in terms of camera quality and usability. X200 Pro users will find the X300 Pro upgrade worth it while newcomers will find it nowhere else in the category.
