Vivo X300 Pro Debuts as Premium Flagship Rival to iPhone 17 Pro With Bigger Battery, Zeiss Cameras
Vivo X300 Pro debuts with a bigger battery, Zeiss-enhanced cameras, Dimensity 9500 chip, and OriginOS 6, positioning it as a strong rival to the iPhone 17 Pro.

Vivo has formally introduced the X300 and X300 Pro smartphones in China, then India, with the X300 Pro directly opposing the iPhone 17 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and Oppo Find X9 Pro. The flagship device features a new look, improved optics and the most powerful chipset from MediaTek.
The X300 Pro continues Vivo’s circular rear camera module design but adopts flatter sides for improved grip. At 228g, it is heavy yet well-balanced and carries IP68 and IP69 water/dust resistance. An Action Button-like shortcut key on the left offers customizable long-press and double-press actions — something even iPhones don’t currently support.
On the front, the X300 Pro features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with slimmer bezels, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1,260 × 2,800 resolution and 94.85% screen-to-body ratio, making HDR content more immersive.
Powering the device is the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor paired with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. Vivo claims improved thermals, with smoother performance in both daily use and extended gaming compared to last year’s Dimensity 9400.
Photography remains Vivo’s strongest suit. The X300 Pro uses a triple-camera system featuring a 50MP Sony LYT-828 sensor, a 200MP telephoto lens with 3.5× optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide. Daylight images show strong color accuracy and dynamic range, while low-light shots capture better detail than the X200 Pro. Zeiss effects and filters return alongside the new Zeiss Telephoto Extender Kit, which supports 2.35× zoom and works with both X300 models.
A major highlight is the battery: 6,510mAh in India and China, while European models ship with a smaller 5,440mAh unit. Both versions support 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, delivering reliable all-day endurance.
Globally, the X300 Pro becomes the first Vivo device to ship with Android 16-based OriginOS 6. The OS brings a refined visual design, improved multitasking features, and iOS-like interactions such as a Dynamic Island-style UI element and drag-and-drop photo sharing.
Price and Availability
In India, the Vivo X300 Pro is offered in just one configuration of 16GB + 512GB at a whopping price of ₹1,09,999, which will be ready for purchase in Dune Gold and Elite Black colors from December 10 onward. Continuing with the previous Vivo flagship styles, the X300 series was not meant for the U.S. market.
