vivo on Tuesday expanded its V-series portfolio in India with the introduction of the vivo V60e, priced starting at Rs 29,999. The smartphone brings a combination of high-resolution imaging, long-lasting battery, and quick charging support aimed at mid-range users.
The V60e comes with a 200MP main camera equipped with advanced close-up portrait capability of up to 85mm focal length. It also introduces AI Festival Portrait mode, designed specifically for India, which enhances portraits with festive themes and cultural elements.
On the front, the phone features a 50MP Eye AF Group Selfie camera offering a 90-degree field of view. vivo has added several localized camera features including AI Four-Season Portraits, a Wedding Style Studio, and a Wedding Vlog mode targeting Indian celebrations and events.
Under the hood, the V60e runs on MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo chipset, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. A 6500mAh battery powers the phone, supported by 90W FlashCharge, which can recharge the device from 1% to 50% in approximately 27 minutes.
The smartphone sports a 6.77-inch Quad-Curved AMOLED display and measures 0.749 cm in thickness, weighing around 190 grams. It includes IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and features Diamond Shield Glass for enhanced durability.
Running on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, vivo promises three years of Android version upgrades and five years of security updates for the V60e.
Commenting on the launch, Geetaj Channana, Head of Corporate Strategy at vivo India, said the device aligns with the brand’s focus on helping users capture and preserve moments during the upcoming festive season.
The V60e will be available in Elite Purple and Noble Gold color variants. Pricing is set at Rs 29,999 for the 8GB+128GB, Rs 31,999 for the 8GB+256GB, and Rs 33,999 for the 12GB+256GB model. Sales begin October 10 through vivo’s official site, Amazon, Flipkart, and authorized retail outlets. Pre-bookings are already live.
Launch offers include a 10% instant bank discount, up to six months no-cost EMI, one-year extended warranty, and vivo TWS 3e earbuds at Rs 1,499 as part of a promotional bundle. Offline buyers will also have access to cashback programs, screen protection, and assured buyback options.
