Vivo is preparing to expand its V-series portfolio in India with the new Vivo V60e 5G, a mid-range smartphone that promises high-end features at an accessible price. Industry insiders suggest the official launch could take place on October 7, 2025, though the company has not yet confirmed the date.
The device’s most notable highlight is its rumored 200-megapixel primary camera, potentially making it the first phone in its price segment with such a high-resolution sensor. Reports indicate the phone will also include an 85mm telephoto lens, a feature uncommon in mid-range smartphones.
Leaked pricing details shared by tipster Paras Guglani point to three configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at Rs 28,749, 8GB + 256GB at Rs 30,749, and 12GB + 256GB at Rs 32,749. If accurate, this positions the V60e 5G as a competitive mid-range contender within Vivo’s lineup.
Performance-wise, the V60e 5G is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. The combination aims to deliver smooth multitasking and gaming experiences. Leaks also suggest a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, usually found in higher-end devices. A 120Hz OLED display will provide sharp visuals and fluid scrolling. The phone is rumored to carry an IP68 rating, offering resistance against dust and water.
On the design front, the V60e 5G is expected to launch in two color options: Elite Purple and Noble Gold, reflecting design cues from the original Vivo V60.
