Vivo is set to expand its V60 series in India this month with the introduction of the V60e 5G. The device integrates several AI-driven functions aimed at enhancing user experience for local consumers.
The phone introduces an AI Festival Portrait mode that modifies photos to create event-specific effects. It also supports AI Captions, a tool capable of transcribing, translating, and summarizing meetings in real time. Additionally, the device will be compatible with Gemini applications.
Operating on Funtouch OS 15 built over Android 15, the V60e will receive three major Android updates and five years of security patches, according to Vivo. The display is expected to feature a quad-curved OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and minimal bezels surrounding a central punch-hole front camera.
Hardware specifications likely include the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, with RAM configurations up to 12GB. Power is supplied by a 6,500mAh battery supporting 90W wired charging.
Photography on the V60e will be driven by a dual rear setup, with a 200MP primary sensor featuring optical image stabilization and 30x zoom, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The front camera is expected to carry a 50MP sensor. The device will include IP68 and IP69 water and dust protection, complemented by Diamond Shield Glass for durability.
According to Flipkart listings, the phone will launch in three variants: 8GB+128GB at Rs 28,749, 8GB+256GB at Rs 30,749, and 12GB+256GB at Rs 32,749. Vivo is scheduled to confirm final pricing during the official launch event on October 7.
