Vivo V50 design leaks ahead of India launch

Vivo V50 is expected to launch in an eye-catching ‘Rose Red’ shade.
The device may feature a massive 6,000mAh battery and a quad-curved display.
Vivo is gearing up for the launch of its latest smartphone, the Vivo V50, in India, with reports hinting at a February 18th release. Unlike previous iterations, there might not be a Vivo V50 Pro variant this time. A newly leaked render has now given us a first glimpse of the phone’s design.
Vivo V50 Design Details
Renowned tipster Yogesh Brar recently shared an image of the Vivo V50 on X (formerly Twitter), revealing its sleek back panel. The phone appears in a vibrant ‘Rose Red’ color, reportedly inspired by Indian weddings. Earlier leaks suggest additional blue and grey color variants may also be available.
The rear panel sports a prominent oval-shaped camera module in the top-left corner, housing dual camera sensors encased in a circular design, alongside Zeiss branding. Below the camera setup, a ring LED flash is positioned.
The Vivo V50 showcases elegantly curved edges and rounded corners, with the power button and volume rocker placed on the right side. Another highlight is its quad-curved display, reminiscent of the Vivo X200 Pro. Additionally, despite packing a hefty 6,000mAh battery, the phone is rumored to be the slimmest in its segment.
Expected Specifications
The Vivo V50 is speculated to be a rebranded version of China’s Vivo S20, though its design tweaks, including curved edges instead of flat ones, set it apart. Certification listings suggest the Vivo V50e might also debut in India soon.
Leaked Specifications:
Display: 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate
Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3
Cameras: 50MP primary + 50MP secondary rear sensors, 8MP front camera
Battery: 6,000mAh (rated 5,870mAh) with 90W fast charging
Storage Options: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB
While official launch details are still awaited, the pricing is expected to align with the Vivo V40, which debuted at ₹34,999. For reference, the Vivo S20 launched in China at CNY 2,299 (approximately ₹27,500). More details should surface as the mid-February launch nears.
