vivo Unveils Initiative To Mark Women’S Day

Hyderabad: vivo India, a renowned smartphone brand, has launched a new initiative to commemorate Women’s Day. The project ‘vivo KanyaGyaan’ is dedicated to empowering Indian women for a future in Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) as a career option. The program aims to offer scholarships, mentorship, skill development, and industry exposure to young women from underserved communities.
The company has also unveiled a digital campaign to further amplify its initiative. The event is already benefiting around 150 women so far, over 60 per cent of these beneficiaries belong to families earning less than Rs1 lakh annually and around 15 per cent are raised by single parents.
