A surprising revelation has emerged in the world of Google's upcoming Pixel 8 Pro smartphone. Unlike the usual leaks from anonymous sources or professional leakers, Google itself inadvertently unveiled an image of the phone on one of its web pages related to "subscriptions and services." This discovery was made by Twitter user Android Setting, with credit also going to Mishaal Rahman and The Verge for spotting it.

The revealed image showcases what seems to be a typical lifestyle shot of a Pixel-style phone, but it sports a slightly altered design compared to the Pixel 7 Pro. Most notably, the camera lens takes on a distinctive elongated oval shape, aligning with recent Pixel 8 leaks. Furthermore, there's a new and eye-catching beige color variant.

Rahman pointed out an interesting detail in the image's alt text description, which reads, "a person takes a call on the Pixel 8 Pro in Porcelain." This confirmation solidifies that the phone in question is indeed Google's new flagship. While Google promptly removed the page, preventing archiving by internet archive sites, the image strongly resembles the typical lifestyle product shots that Google provides to reporters when launching a new device. Consequently, the authenticity of this image is reasonably certain.

Notably, the revised camera design had been leaked previously, but the introduction of the new "Porcelain" color is a fresh revelation, aligning with Google's tradition of offering autumnal pastel shades. Other anticipated features include an upgraded display with a higher refresh rate, possibly up to 120Hz, compared to the previous model. The Pixel 8 Pro is also rumored to deliver improved brightness, potentially reaching up to 1600 nits.
