The figures, obtained by Business Insider from the US Department of Labour, provide rare transparency into the company’s compensation structure for foreign hires.
In the first half of 2025, Uber applied to hire nearly 500 employees through the H-1B program—up from about 350 during the same period last year. Positions in high demand include data scientists, operations research analysts, and software developers.
