TECNO’s POVA 7 Series has received global recognition for its futuristic design, winning two major international awards: the Golden Award at the New York Product Design Awards and the Platinum Award at the London Design Awards.
The New York Product Design Awards, managed by the International Awards Associate (IAA), honor innovations that merge design with functionality. With more than 2,000 entries submitted globally this year, the awards aim to spotlight products that enhance modern life and raise design standards. Similarly, the London Design Awards recognize digital and electronic products that demonstrate creativity, innovation, and purposeful aesthetics.
According to IAA spokesperson Thomas Brandt, the POVA 7 Series illustrates how impactful design plays a growing role in modern technology, combining aesthetics with meaningful user experience.
The POVA 7 Series design appeals to younger audiences through a bold and unique approach. The series adopts the "Line & Lighting" theme and reinterprets it with a new triangular visual element drawn from the POVA logo. Bright orange highlights and a partially see-through battery cover contribute to a layered, dynamic look. A set of 104 Mini-LEDs integrated around the camera module form a “Status Light” for customizable notifications, blending form and function. The device’s user interface carries forward this theme with modern wallpapers, clear iconography, and glass-inspired textures.
In addition to design, the smartphone series delivers high-end performance. It integrates AI tools such as real-time translation, call summarization, and AI-enhanced photo processing. The inclusion of AIGC Studio allows users to produce professional-level content directly from their phone. Powered by a top-tier chipset, the device features a 144 Hz refresh rate display and a 6000 mAh battery, supported by 70W wired and 30W wireless charging, catering to both gamers and content creators.
