Krafton has officially rolled out the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) 4.0 update, themed “Spooky Soiree,” bringing a host of gameplay changes and additions. The update, which began on September 11, 2025, introduces new weapons, reworked maps, advanced animations, and the Ghostie companion system that provides players with unique abilities. The update is currently available for Android devices, with iOS users expected to receive it soon.
Android users can download the BGMI 4.0 update through the Google Play Store. To install, players need to open the Play Store, search for “Battlegrounds Mobile India,” select the official Krafton app, and tap “Update” or “Install” depending on their version. After installation, an in-game resource download is required. Krafton has confirmed that iOS support for the update will be added in the near future.
