Sony Bravia 5 Series Debuts in India: Price Starts at Rs 1.37 Lakh

Sony has rolled out its latest smart television lineup, the Bravia 5 Mini LED series, for the Indian market. Featuring the XR cognitive processor, these models support Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, 3D effects, and spatial sound enhancements. The new range also integrates Studio Calibrated Mode and the Sony Pictures Core app, ensuring optimized picture quality and premium content streaming.

The Bravia 5 incorporates XR Triluminos Pro and XR Clear technologies powered by an upgraded AI algorithm. This allows the display to deliver improved contrast, richer color tones, and sharper visual fidelity. The enhanced algorithm adapts to various content formats and lighting conditions to ensure consistent performance.

On the audio front, Sony has implemented its Acoustic Multi-Sound framework, which includes precise sound-positioning tweeters and dual down-firing full-range speakers. Voice Zoom 3, an AI-powered feature, processes audio signals in real time to isolate and boost human speech, improving dialogue clarity during playback.

Gamers benefit from the inclusion of the new Game Menu 2 feature, which allows on-screen adjustment of Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto HDR Tone Mapping for a smoother and more responsive experience.

The Bravia 5 range will be available in four sizes — 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch — with prices starting at Rs 1,37,740 for the smallest variant and going up to Rs 4,17,990 for the largest. These models will be stocked across Sony Centers, major retail chains, and online platforms nationwide.
