Secret Payments on Paytm? Here’s How to Hide Transactions Easily

Paytm has rolled out a new option that enables the users to hide certain transactions in the application thus providing more control on their personal financial activities. The "Hide Payment" feature is intended to add extra security to the confidential purchases and keep the users’ privacy intact on the shared gadgets.

This capacity lets the users hide their single payments от the transaction history that can be seen but still keeping a complete record in their account. At any moment, a transaction can be unhidden or made visible again through the app's "Vew Hidden Payments" option, which requires a PIN or biometric authentication.

In order to hide a payment, the user has to open the Paytm app, go to "Balance & History" and swipe the payment left to choose "Hide." Accepting the message finalizes the operation. The concealed transactions are still securely kept but they are not visible in the ordinary payment list.

For unhiding, the user has to click on the three-dot icon alongside "Payment History," choose "View Hidden Payments" and confirm the identity with a PIN or biometrics. After that, the intended transaction can be swiped and unhid.

This functionality impacts only in-app visibility and does not affect account statements or records in any way. Users still have the complete power of deciding which transactions are to be seen by others while they enjoy the extra privacy.
