Samsung unveils One UI 7 Beta update timeline for Galaxy Z, Galaxy S, and Galaxy A Series smartphones

Samsung Electronics has announced the launch of its One UI 7 beta program, expanding its Galaxy AI features to more devices. This update is designed to enhance the mobile AI experience by integrating advanced tools and offering a refreshed user interface.
Availability The One UI 7 beta will first be available for the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 starting March 6 in India, Korea, the U.K., and the U.S. The program will be extended to additional devices, such as the Galaxy S23 series, Tab S10 series, and Galaxy A55, later in March. The official One UI 7 update is slated for release in April.
AI Features One UI 7 introduces several AI-powered enhancements aimed at boosting usability and personalization. Among the new features are writing assist tools that help users summarize content, check spelling and grammar, and format notes more efficiently. These tools are integrated directly into the OS, making it easier to use without switching between apps.
The update also improves call features with automatic call transcription in 20 languages. When call recording is enabled, users can access transcribed conversations, making multitasking and communication more efficient.
Rollout Timeline The official One UI 7 release will begin with upcoming Galaxy S series devices in the first quarter of 2025, introducing additional AI capabilities, including advanced on-device AI functions. Samsung will continue rolling out the update to other Galaxy devices as part of its extended OS upgrade policy.
The One UI 7 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series will be available in Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the U.K., and the U.S. starting December 5, with users able to apply via Samsung Members for early access.
