Samsung Electronics has officially announced the rollout of One UI 7, set to begin on April 7. The latest update introduces AI-driven enhancements designed to make Galaxy devices more intuitive, personalized, and seamless. Initially launching with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Z Flip6, the update will gradually expand to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

One UI 7 brings a fresh, streamlined interface that enhances user customization. Redesigned widgets, an intuitive home screen, and an updated lock screen allow users to tailor their devices effortlessly. The new Now Bar provides real-time updates directly on the lock screen, offering quick access to workout stats, music playback, and notifications—all without unlocking the phone.

Powered by Galaxy AI, One UI 7 enhances productivity and creativity. Key AI-driven features include:
AI Select: Quickly save video clips as GIFs with a simple swipe on the Edge Panel.
Writing Assist: Automatically summarizes and formats selected text for efficiency.
Drawing Assist: Transforms text prompts and sketches into detailed illustrations.
Audio Eraser: Isolates and removes unwanted background noise in videos.
Samsung has also integrated Google Gemini, enabling users to control their devices through natural voice commands. For instance, simply saying, “Find pet-friendly Italian restaurants nearby” delivers instant recommendations. Additionally, natural language search extends to device settings, making adjustments as easy as saying, “My eyes are feeling tired” to activate Eye Comfort Shield or adjust brightness.
