Samsung is set to host its second Galaxy Unpacked event of 2025 on September 4, streaming live on Samsung.com and the company’s official YouTube channel starting at 3:00 p.m. IST. The virtual presentation will focus on the launch of the Galaxy S25 FE smartphone and the Galaxy Tab S11 series, adding new products to the company’s premium device lineup.

The announcement comes just ahead of two major events in the technology calendar: the IFA 2025 trade show in Berlin and Apple’s September 9 iPhone 17 event. Samsung’s official invitation highlights a focus on a connected ecosystem, stating that the showcase will “reveal a more seamless mobile experience across a wider range of devices.”

The Galaxy S25 FE is expected to bring flagship-level performance in a lower-priced device. Industry reports indicate the phone will carry a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to ship with the Exynos 2400 or Exynos 2400e processor and 8GB of RAM.

The smartphone may feature a triple-lens camera system comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. A 12MP front-facing camera is expected for video calls and selfies. A 4,900mAh battery is rumored, with support for 45W wired and 15W wireless charging.

Samsung will also introduce two new tablets—the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra—designed to compete directly with Apple’s iPad Pro range. The Tab S11 Ultra is anticipated to feature a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate, while the Tab S11 is expected to include an 11-inch AMOLED display.

The tablets are rumored to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset, with configurations offering up to 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM. Both models are expected to feature a dual rear camera system and a redesigned S Pen included in the box.

Samsung is expected to use this event to expand its Galaxy AI platform, signaling a strategy centered on tighter integration between devices. The company has hinted at new multimodal AI tools designed to make smartphones and tablets operate as part of a unified ecosystem.
