The next flagship Samsung phone, galaxy s26 ultra, is expected to soon be available in India, mixing the highest quality output and advanced photography as well. There are rumors and leaks from the industry that the device will offer premium users a blend of powerful hardware and upgraded optics.
According to reports, the Galaxy S26 Ultra might make its way to the Indian market with a starting price of around Rs 1,59,999 for the base variant that is likely to come with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Samsung has yet to announce an official launch date, but experts think the phone will be released in late January or the first week of February, as the company usually follows this release pattern.
The new Galaxy S26 Ultra is likely to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, alongside 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The display of the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be of 6.9 inches made of OLED and having a refresh rate of 120 Hz and peak brightness of about 3000 nits. The battery will reportedly be of 5000mAh capacity and will come with fast charging of at least 45W.
The initial rumors are indicating that the S26 Ultra will carry most of the design language of its predecessor while giving a few updates. The phone may change the floating camera system to a more noticeable camera island and will have a body that is thinner than its predecessor.
With the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Samsung will most likely maintain its photography focus. Rumors indicate that the device will have a main quad-camera setup with a 200MP primary sensor combined with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. The front-facing camera is likely to be 12MP for selfies and video calls.
