Samsung Rolls Out Android 15-Based OneUI 7 To Galaxy Devices: Here How To Download It

Samsung Electronics has officially announced the rollout plan for the One UI 7.0 update, which brings the Android 15 operating system to a broad range of Galaxy devices. The company shared the timeline for the device-specific One UI 7 updates via the Samsung Members app, specifically for users in South Korea.
One UI 7 is regarded as one of the top Android skins available in the market. The update has now been released for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, marking the first major OS update for these devices, all of which are set to receive software support for an impressive seven years.
Reports indicate that the update is being distributed in phases and will be ready for models powered by both the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the Exynos 2400. Samsung anticipates that the complete rollout will be finished in the coming weeks.
However, when compared to other flagship Android smartphone manufacturers, Samsung is among the last to deliver the Android 15 update to its premium devices. Other brands, such as OnePlus, OPPO, Vivo, and iQOO, already rolled out Android 15-based updates back in December 2024.
How to update your Samsung phone to One UI
To see if the One UI 7 update is available for your device, head to your smartphone’s settings, navigate to the software update section, and tap on 'Check for updates.' If the update is available, you can easily download and install it. Keep in mind that it may take some time before all users, including those in India, gain access to the One UI 7 update.
Currently, it seems that only South Korea has access to the official update, with other countries expected to follow suit shortly.
