Samsung is gearing up to roll out its much-anticipated One UI 8 beta update, based on Android 16, to a wider range of Galaxy smartphones—beyond just the flagship Galaxy S25 series. Starting next week, several premium Galaxy models and foldables will be eligible to test the new features before the official launch.
🔄 One UI 8 Beta Rolling Out to More Devices
Initially launched in May for the Galaxy S25 series, the One UI 8 beta program is now expanding. From next week, users of the Galaxy S24 lineup, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Z Flip6 in select regions—India, South Korea, the U.S., and the U.K.—can enroll in the public beta program via the Samsung Members app.
Participants will get early access to Android 16-based features, UI enhancements, and performance upgrades before the final version launches in September 2025.

🛠️ How to Install One UI 8 Beta on Your Samsung Phone
Want to try out One UI 8 before everyone else? Here's how:
Download or update the Samsung Members app from the Galaxy Store or Play Store.
Log in using your Samsung account.
Look for the “One UI 8 Beta Program” banner on the home screen.
Tap “Register” and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once registered, you’ll receive the beta update via Settings > Software Update, just like any other software update.
📅 When Will the Final One UI 8 Version Launch?
Samsung is expected to release the stable One UI 8 update to the public starting September 2025, beginning with its flagship and foldable devices.
