Samsung, KT Studio Genie Partner to Bring K-Dramas and Films to Global Viewers for Free
Samsung Electronics has partnered with KT Studio Genie to stream popular Korean dramas, films, and original series worldwide via Samsung TV Plus — completely free and without subscription.
Samsung and KT Studio Genie join forces to bring Korean dramas and original content to global audiences through Samsung TV Plus.

Samsung Electronics and KT Studio Genie have partnered to increase global access to Korean entertainment. Through the new partnership, Samsung TV Plus will be able to stream a carefully chosen selection of Genie TV Originals, including well-known Korean dramas, movies, and exclusive titles, in both Korean and foreign markets. Every piece of content will be freely accessible without requiring a subscription.
Free K-Content Without Registering
On Samsung Smart TVs, Galaxy smartphones, Smart Monitors, and even Family Hub refrigerators, users can access Samsung TV Plus, the company's free streaming TV service with advertisements, without having to register. Currently, viewers worldwide can access 66,000 on-demand titles and more than 3,500 live channels on the platform.
Genie TV Originals' International Debut
A few Korean originals will be released abroad as part of this partnership, including:
- "Lies Hidden in My Garden" is a gripping drama about two women whose lives are completely upended by unexplained circumstances.
- The humorous military comedy-drama "New Recruit" centers on the difficulties faced by fresh recruits to the army.
- The romance "Dear Hyeri" centers on a newscaster who suffers from dissociative identity disorder.
