Samsung India has once again demonstrated its commitment to customer satisfaction by announcing a proactive measure to address an issue faced by some Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 users. The company has pledged to offer free display replacements for users experiencing the ‘green line’ issue on their devices.

Tarun Vats, a user of X, shared his conversation screenshots with Samsung Support regarding the screen replacement offer. According to the Samsung representative, eligible models for this offer now include the Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, and S22 Ultra, alongside previously supported models like the Galaxy S20 and Note20 series. The offer covers replacement of the OCTA assembly, battery, and a Rework Kit for devices purchased within three years. Notably, the offer is accessible even after warranty expiration, provided there's no physical or water damage to the handset. However, a significant update to the terms is that the offer is valid until April 30th, 2024, and it's a one-time opportunity for users.

To avail the free screen replacement for Galaxy S21 and S22 devices affected by the green line issue, users need to follow a simple process. Firstly, it's essential to confirm if the device exhibits the green line problem as described. For any screen flickering issues, users should refer to Samsung's support page. Additionally, users should back up their device data as a precaution in case a reset is necessary. The process involves visiting the Samsung Digital Service Centre website to locate the nearest service centre by granting location permission. Once the nearest centre is identified, users can proceed to book an appointment by providing details. On the scheduled date and time, users should visit the service centre, where a support agent will assist them further with the screen replacement process.

This proactive measure not only resolves the issue promptly but also reinforces Samsung's commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences and maintaining customer trust.
