Samsung’s next flagship, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, is attracting early attention as leaks and reports highlight significant enhancements over its predecessor, the S25 Ultra. While the official launch is still months away, industry insiders have outlined several features that could define the next-generation device.

The upcoming S26 Ultra is expected to preserve Samsung’s characteristic design, including a flat 6.9-inch display with a central punch-hole camera. Sources indicate the bezels will remain ultra-thin, but the corners may be slightly more rounded for improved handling. The overall layout appears unchanged, with the power and volume buttons on the right side, and the bottom housing the SIM tray, USB-C port, speaker, and S Pen slot.

Leaks suggest a new rear camera configuration for the S26 Ultra. The phone may feature four lenses, but their positioning is set to differ from the S25 Ultra’s design. Reports point to three sensors arranged vertically on a raised camera module, while the fourth lens is positioned separately. An LED flash and an additional sensor are expected above the main cluster, creating a visually distinct setup.

The S26 Ultra is tipped to deliver higher performance with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, built on a 3nm architecture. RAM and storage options could reach up to 16GB and 1TB, respectively. The device is expected to be slimmer than its predecessor at 163.4 x 77.9 x 7.9 mm, with a weight around 217 grams. Samsung may also introduce a new M14 OLED panel for brighter visuals, improved efficiency, and reduced glare.

Samsung could address its lag in charging performance with the S26 Ultra. Wired charging may increase from 45W to 60W, according to some leaks, while wireless charging could benefit from 25W Qi2.2 magnetic technology. The integration of magnets may enhance alignment and efficiency during wireless charging.

A notable rumored feature is the Privacy Display, designed to reduce screen visibility from side angles. Unlike relying on external privacy screen protectors, Samsung may implement built-in hardware and software solutions, enhancing protection against shoulder surfing in public spaces.
