Samsung is reportedly preparing to introduce the Galaxy S25 FE in India, with fresh details emerging around its design, display, and performance capabilities. If recent leaks are accurate, the device could see key upgrades over its predecessor while maintaining its familiar aesthetics.
Industry sources cited by GSMArena suggest that the Galaxy S25 FE may adopt a design largely similar to the previous Fan Edition, but refined with an Armor Aluminum frame. The phone is said to slim down to 7.4mm thickness and weigh around 190 grams, offering a more compact feel than last year’s model.
The display could be a 6.7-inch Full HD+ LTPO panel with a dynamic refresh rate up to 120Hz, covered by Gorilla Glass Victus+. Unlike the Galaxy S25+ which uses a higher-resolution screen and Victus 2 glass, the FE variant may prioritize efficiency with its LTPO tech.
Internally, the Galaxy S25 FE is likely to be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2400 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM. It is expected to be available in three storage configurations: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The battery may see a boost to 4,900mAh, accompanied by faster 45W wired charging, while wireless charging is expected to remain at 15W.
Camera hardware might remain consistent with the Galaxy S24 FE lineup. Leaks indicate a triple-lens system comprising a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide unit. The front camera may be upgraded to 12MP, possibly featuring autofocus support for better selfies.
Samsung is also expected to maintain its seven-year software support policy for the S25 FE, extending the device’s longevity in the Android ecosystem.
The smartphone is speculated to launch around early October.
