Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Sales Reportedly Fall Short of Expectations

Samsung’s premium flagship, the Galaxy S25 Edge, appears to be facing disappointing market performance, months after its much-hyped launch. According to industry reports, sales figures for the device are well below Samsung’s expectations, raising concerns for the South Korean tech giant in the ultra-premium smartphone segment.
🔍 Price Drop and Platform Offers
The Galaxy S25 Edge is currently available on Amazon at ₹1,21,999 for the 12 GB + 512 GB variant, while the 12 GB + 256 GB version is listed at ₹1,09,999 on Flipkart. Despite these platforms offering occasional discounts and exchange bonuses, the device hasn’t managed to ignite demand as strongly as its predecessors.
⚠️ What’s Behind the Slump?
While Samsung has not officially commented, analysts suggest several contributing factors:
Stiff competition from Apple’s iPhone 16 series and Google’s upcoming Pixel 10 lineup.
Minimal design innovation compared to the Galaxy S24.
A potential gap in perceived value, especially at the ₹1 lakh+ price point.
📉 A Premium Phone in a Price-Sensitive Market
Despite featuring a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, a curved AMOLED display, and a versatile camera setup, the S25 Edge might be struggling due to consumer fatigue around minor upgrades and market saturation in the flagship space.
Samsung is reportedly reviewing its marketing and pricing strategy ahead of the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip refresh expected later in 2025.
