A day after Samsung rolled out the Galaxy S25 FE in India, the earlier-generation Galaxy S24 FE has witnessed a major price reduction on Amazon, drawing attention from buyers in the mid-range premium smartphone category.
The Galaxy S24 FE, which debuted at a significantly higher price, is now listed at Rs 34,499. Customers using Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit cards can secure an additional Rs 1,000 discount, reducing the effective cost to Rs 33,499. Amazon is also offering an exchange program that can bring down the price further, depending on the make and condition of the phone traded in. The exchange value goes up to Rs 31,000.
Samsung’s Galaxy S24 FE carries a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is the Exynos 2400e processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 14 layered with One UI 6.1. Samsung has committed to seven years of Android upgrades and security updates for the model. Battery capacity stands at 4,700mAh with 25W wired charging support.
The rear camera setup houses a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens and an 8MP telephoto unit. A 10MP front-facing camera is included for selfies and video calls. Samsung has bundled Galaxy AI features such as Generative Edit, Portrait Studio, Edit Suggestions, and Instant Slow-Mo. The device also comes with Circle to Search, Live Translate, Interpreter, and Note Assist for productivity and ease of use.
The timing of the price cut suggests Samsung is positioning the S24 FE as an attractive alternative for buyers who want flagship-grade specifications under Rs 35,000, even as the Galaxy S25 FE enters the market.
