Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy M36 5G in India, aiming to make a strong impact in the competitive sub-₹20,000 segment. With a powerful feature set that includes a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, Exynos 1380 processor, AI tools, and a long-lasting battery, the device is tailored for budget-conscious users seeking flagship-like performance.
The Galaxy M36 5G features a vibrant Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus. Under the hood, it runs on the Exynos 1380 chipset, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The phone operates on One UI 7 based on Android 15, and Samsung promises six years of security updates and six generations of Android OS upgrades.
Photography gets a significant boost with a 50MP primary camera featuring OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro shooter. On the front, there’s a 12MP selfie camera, and both sides support 4K video recording. AI-powered features like Object Eraser, Image Clipper, Edit Suggestions, and Google’s Circle to Search are built into the device, alongside Samsung’s Knox Vault for added security.
Backed by a 5,000mAh battery and 45W fast charging support, the Galaxy M36 5G promises full-day performance in a slim 7.7mm body. Despite the 5,000mAh reference in most sections, Samsung also lists up to 6,000mAh capability in select variants.
The Galaxy M36 5G is available in three color options—Velvet Black, Orange Haze, and Serene Green. Pricing starts at ₹22,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB variant, but with bank offers, the effective price drops to ₹16,999. The 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB models are priced at ₹17,999 and ₹20,999, respectively, after discounts.
Sales in India begin on July 12 through Amazon, Samsung India’s official website, and select offline retail outlets.
