Samsung is preparing to unveil the Galaxy F36 5G in India, following an official teaser posted on Flipkart. Continuing its F-series strategy, the company confirmed that the upcoming model will be sold exclusively through the e-commerce platform. The promotional campaign tags the smartphone as "Flex Hi-FAI," hinting at artificial intelligence integrations.
The teaser image provides a first look at the device, which sports a slim profile and a SIM card slot positioned on the left. The back panel appears to house a vertically aligned triple-camera unit within an oval enclosure. Though the company has not disclosed the exact release date, the launch is anticipated to occur within the month.
The Galaxy F36 5G recently appeared on the Google Play Console, where several core specifications were listed. The handset is expected to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1380 processor, succeeding the Exynos 1280 found in the Galaxy F34 5G. It may run on Android 15 with Samsung's One UI 7 overlay. The base model is likely to offer 6GB RAM, with additional variants possibly available.
Reports indicate the smartphone could feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Gorilla Glass Victus+ may be used for screen protection. On the imaging front, the rear module might include a 50MP primary lens with optical image stabilisation, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. The front-facing camera is expected to be 13MP.
The Galaxy F36 5G may ship with a 5,000mAh battery capable of supporting 25W wired fast charging. Its design shows a flat-edged frame with subtly curved corners. AI-driven camera and system enhancements are likely, as implied by the "Hi-FAI" branding.
Samsung is expected to position the Galaxy F36 5G under the ₹20,000 mark, aligning it with other models in the mid-range segment. The device may share hardware similarities with the recently introduced Galaxy M36, though design and platform exclusivity are set to distinguish the F-series model.
The Flipkart product page is expected to go live with complete details ahead of the official launch. Further announcements from Samsung are anticipated in the coming days.
